After a dramatic summer in New York, Made in Chelsea is returning to its home turf of Chelsea for series 8. The series, which airs from 13 October at 9pm on E4, sees the cast settle back into their glamourous London surroundings.
Returning for series 8 will be: Jamie Laing, Binky Felstead, Mark-Francis Vandelli, Spencer Matthews, Lucy Watson, Alex Mytton, Louise Thompson, Stevie Johnson, Rosie Fortescue, Oliver Proudlock, Cheska Hull, Fran Newman- Young, Victoria Baker-Harber, Sophie Hermann, Sam Thompson and Riley Uggla. And having spent the summer in the UK, Janey Felstead (Binky’s mum), Georgia Toffolo (Toff) and Andy Jordan will be there to welcome their family and friends back to London.
Viewers watched as love blossomed for Louise Thompson and Alik Alfus in Made in Chelsea NYC and we can now confirm that Alik is still dating the Chelsea beauty, having moved to London. Fellow American, Stephanie Pratt will also be returning in series 8 having just collected keys to her own London abode.
This season also welcomes three new cast members – Tiffany Watson (Tiff), Lonan O’Herlihy and Will Colebrook.
Tiff Watson is the active and sociable loyal younger sister of Chelsea’s Lucy Watson. Despite the odd sisterly rift, she is very dedicated to her elder sister and even works with her on her jewellery line. Tiff is currently single but knows that any potential suitor will have to get past her protective sibling to have a chance.
Twenty-four- year-old Will is a previous university acquaintance of Alex Mytton. He’s not just a party boy but a trained freestyle ski instructor, cyclist, surfer, skateboarder, entrepreneur, property developer, adrenaline junky and personal trainer. Will is a romantic at heart and guilty of falling in love hard and fast.
Twenty-five-year-old Lonan is a good friend of Will, and director of an elite personal training company, where Will works alongside him. Another university acquaintance of Alex Mytton, Lonan also knows Toff from the Chelsea social scene. He has a penchant for fast cars and petite blonde women.
The 11-part series is commissioned by Channel 4’s Head of Formats Dominic Bird, and Commissioning Editor Jilly Pearce. The series is executive produced by Monkey’s Sarah Dillistone and Ros Coward.
Sarah Dillistone Executive Producer for Monkey Kingdom comments: “After an exciting summer in New York, the cast are back to Chelsea with a bang. With three new cast members thrown in to the mix, expect even more drama, rivalries and jaw dropping storylines for series 8…”
Dom Bird, Head of Formats at Channel 4 says: “It’s great to have our Chelsea crew back on British soil for more champagne and shenanigans.”
