Made in Chelsea riding high

Category: News Release

E4's Made in Chelsea has topped the 4oD chart for the second month running in 2012. The reality series attracted 3.3m VoD views across the month of May, nearly a million more than in April.

Long running, teen drama Hollyoaks drew a larger number of VoD views than the previous month attracting 2.2m whilst US drama Desperate Housewives pulled in 1.6m VoD views, making it the third most watched programme of the month.

Entertainment was once again the most viewed genre, thanks to the likes of Allan Carr: Chatty Man and 8 Out of 10 Cats. It was followed closely by Comedy which was helped to the second spot by US smash hit comedies The Big Bang Theory and Two Broke Girls and celebrity impression show Very Important People.

Across all the platforms on which 4oD is available, Channel 4 catch up and archive Video on Demand content attracted 39 million views in May 2012 and average monthly unique users stood at 3.9m.
