Funnyman Alan Carr returns to Channel 4 this autumn with the seventh series of his very own award-winning chat show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man. Ending the week with a bang with a Sunday night slot, the new series will deliver six brand new episodes of topical banter and celebrity chat, all hosted by the nation's favourite chat show host, Alan Carr. The series also includes a very special festive show due to air over the Christmas period.
Alan's unique warm hospitality and infectious personality have cemented him as the perfect chat show host, inviting his A-list guests to let their hair down, have a good old natter and most importantly, have fun.
Once again viewers can expect more unashamedly addictive celeb fuelled antics, mischievous chat, plus top musical performances as Alan is joined by a plethora of international and home-grown stars from the worlds of music, film, TV and sport.
Winner of the 2010 TV Choice Awards for Best Entertainment Show and with nominations for Best New British Comedy & Best Comedy Entertainment Personality at the British Comedy Awards, Chatty Man is now firmly established as one of the nation's favourite entertainment TV shows. Alan Carr: Chatty Man has also been nominated for Best Chatshow and Alan for Best Entertainment Presenter at the 2012 National TV Award's in January.
The last series of Alan Carr Chatty Man saw Alan chatting on the sofa to a stellar line up of international stars such as; Jennifer Lopez, Elle Macpherson, Liam Gallagher, Eddie Izzard and Justin Timberlake. Other top guests from the past six series include; Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Samuel L Jackson, Cheryl Cole, Michael McIntyre, Drew Barrymore, Colin Farrell, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Robin Williams, Rihanna, Kate Hudson, Bette Midler, Sharon Osbourne, Grace Jones, Gok Wan and Ricky Gervais.
Alan Carr: Chatty Man is an Open Mike production for Channel 4 commissioned by Syeda Irtizaali. Producer is Jon Holman and executive producers for Open Mike Productions are Andrew Beint, Addison Cresswell and Richard Ackerman. The show has been commissioned until 2014 with a further four series planned for 2012 2013.
