Kerrie Hayes has appeared in films including Sam Taylor Woods’s Nowhere Boy and Lindy Heymann’s Kicks, in which she played the lead role of Nicole. In 2009 she was chosen for the Trailblazer showcase, an annual initiative at the Edinburgh International Film Festival highlighting new talent, for her role in Kicks. Other credits include Channel 4’s Black Mirror and BBC One’s Good Cop.
Matthew McNulty - Daniel Bate
Matthew McNulty is best known for his portrayals of David Smith in the BAFTA award-winning See No Evil: The Moors Murders, and BAFTA and RTS award-winning The Mark of Cain, in which he played the lead Shane Gulliver. Most recently Matthew appeared in popular BBC drama The Paradise and the BAFTA award-winning Misfits. Feature films include Dominic Savage’s Love + Hate and Anton Corbijn’s multi award-winning Ian Curtis biopic Control.
Kevin McNally - Mr Timperley
Kevin McNally is a celebrated actor who has been working in film and TV for over 40 years. His first professional job, at the age of 16, was at the Birmingham Rep. In 1973 he was awarded a scholarship to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where, in 1975, he won the Best Actor Bancroft Gold Medal. He has starred in Downton Abbey, in which his wife Phyllis Logan plays the housekeeper, Mrs Hughes. He is best known for his role as Gibbs in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
Donald Sumpter - Samuel Greg
Donald Sumpter is a veteran of television and film. He is most well-known for his roles in the cult television series Game of Thrones, and blockbuster films The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Constant Gardener and Eastern Promises. Most recently he starred in BBC's The Secret of Crickley Hall, Being Human, Wallander and Channel 4’s Black Mirror.
Aidan McArdle - John Doherty
Aidan McArdle trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He has starred in Hollywood films such as The Duchess and Me and Orson Welles, and his TV credits include Garrow’s Law and Casualty. He played the title role in the RSC’s Richard III and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Sacha Parkinson - Miriam Catterall
Sacha played the role of Sian Powers in Coronation Street between 2009 and 2011. She has recently appeared as Kate in BBC Three’s The Crash and her further credits include Survivors, Shameless, The Street and the feature film A Boy Called Dad.
Holly Lucas - Susannah Catterall
Holly Lucas played Martha Hope on Holby City from 2006 until 2009. Previously she played the role of Megan Boothe in Where the Heart Is. She also had a guest role in feature film Bronson, starring Tom Hardy.
Claire Rushbrook - Mrs Timperley
Claire's varied and acclaimed work spans Mike Leigh's Secrets and Lies to the original UK stage version of Festen, BAFTA winning BBC Two drama Murder, directed by Birger Larsen, and the award-winning Enid. Claire will shortly begin filming on the second series of My Mad Fat Diary.
Barbara Marten - Hannah Greg
Barbara Marten is a familiar face on British television screens, portraying Eve Montgomery on Casualty, and more recently appearing in Whitechapel, Waking the Dead, The Street, Kidnap and Ransom and as Beth White in Goldplated.
Jamie Draven - Robert Greg
Jamie made his debut in Paul Abbot's Butterfly Collectors opposite Pete Postlethwaite. He then went on to star in the smash film Billy Elliott as older brother Tony Elliott. Upcoming projects include a new film with Francesco Lucente who Jamie previously worked with on the film Badland.
Craig Parkinson - Charlie Crout
Craig is best known for his role as Shaun in the BAFTA award-winning Channel 4 series Misfits, as well as appearing in Whitechapel. Film credits include Control, Four Lions and Brighton Rock.
Katherine Rose Morley - Lucy Garner
Katherine attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she won the Prestigious Gold Award. She has previously starred in The Week before Christmas, and Thirty and Counting. Earlier this year she starred in the Finborough’s production of Khadija is 18, directed by Tim Stark.
