The Million Pound Drop returns to Channel 4 this summer for a brand new series

Hosted by Davina McCall, contestants are given a million pounds in real money; the question is how much can they keep hold of? Only seven questions stand between them and this staggering amount of cash. All they have to do is keep hold of it by correctly placing their winnings on the trapdoor displaying the correct answer. However, one wrong move could literally see hundreds of thousands of pounds drop through the floor.

Each episode will also include a specially themed game that sees unique teams take on the Drop. These include the very first Drop blind date, a special 'generation gap' game and a workplace special.

We'll also be joined by some well known faces including Jonathan Ross and his wife and kids, Alan Carr and Nick Grimshaw, Stephen and Chris from Gogglebox, plus stars from Educating Yorkshire - all planning on winning some serious cash for their chosen charities.
