More 4 scores best quarter in channel's history

Channel 4’s successful digital offering More 4 is going from strength to strength and today announces it has achieved its highest quarterly share in the channel’s eight year history with 1.34%.

More 4 has also secured its best performing quarter on record for ABC1s, with a share of 1.43% in Q1.

This impressive performance has been driven by very strong audiences to brand new glamorous acquisition Nashville and the return of US legal drama The Good Wife on Thursday nights as well as property shows Sarah Beeney’s Selling Houses and Grand Designs, factual shows Richard III: The Unseen Story and Iceman Murder Mystery and also live coverage of the world’s biggest dog event, Crufts (up +30% YoY).

Quarter 1 of 2013 saw YoY gains of 23% for individuals and 16% for ABC1s.

More 4’s previous best quarterly performance for individuals of 1.32% in Q2 of 2011.
