More4 celebrates record-breaking ratings

More4 has achieved record-breaking figures for Q2 2011, producing its highest share to date with an average of 1.32% for Individuals and 1.39% for ABC1 adults, representing an increase of 19% and 21% year on year.

More4 is currently the sixth best-performing digital channel, shooting up three places from Q2 2010. It is also the sixth top-performing digital channel for ABC1 Adults, ranking above BBC News and Sky 1.

The channel's monthly reach now exceeds 28 million viewers - 7 million more viewers switch on to More4 than BBC4 every month - and its weekly reach is currently 13.4 million, up around 10% on its Q2 2010 levels. 

More4's latest acquisition, Shameless USA, was the second most popular programme on the Channel, with 687,000 viewers and a 3.7% share. Dramas have continued to generate strong figures, with The Good Wife, Brothers and Sisters and The Big C amongst More4's top rating programmes.

Documentary titles have performed particularly strongly this quarter; True Stories: Catfish gained 658,000 viewers and a 4.5% share whilst Cutting Edge: Captive for 18 Years hit 579,000 and a 2.9% share.
