More4 goes Italian

This August, More4 will be celebrating all things deliciously Italian with two tasty specials - Michela Chiappa’s Made in Italy: Top 10 Classic Dishes and Heston’s Italian Revolutionaries.

Made in Italy: Top 10 Classic Dishes sees Welsh-Italian cook Michela Chiappa share her favourite recipes for Britain's top ten Italian dishes. Based on an online poll, the recipe list includes plenty of favourites that we've loved for years, as well as some unexpected modern choices that show how British tastes have developed and confidence has grown.

Commissioned by Channel 4 Features Commissioning Editor, Kate Teckman, the 1 x 90 episode is executive produced by Zoe Collins at Fresh One.

Continuing the ‘Britalian’ food love affair and demonstrating just how far Britain’s palate for Italian food has come is Heston’s Italian Revolutionaries.

In this one-off 60 minute special, innovatory chef Heston Blumenthal pays homage to River Café owners and 'Britalian' food pioneers and Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers, revealing how their passion for simple, Italian food changed Britain’s eating habits forever. 

Heston’s Italian Revolutionaries is executive produced by Sara Brailsford at Atomized and was ordered by Channel 4 Features.

2013 has continued to be a successful year for More4 as it achieved a share of 1.25% across Q2 - up +5% compared with the same period last year whilst its share of ABC1s was up +9% with a share of 1.4%.
