Nanny Mewes answers families' calls for help in new Channel 4 series

Category: News Release

Professional nanny Kathryn Mewes has been looking after children for over twenty years. During this time she has developed her own methods for families whose home life is being tormented by tearaway tots.  In just three days, this modern day Mary Poppins can bring order to households in distress.

In each episode of The Three Day Nanny, Kathryn will answer cries for help from parents who have had enough of fussy eaters, tantrums and sleepless nights.  Nanny Mewes will move into the home to eat, sleep, play and work with families round the clock to bring joy and good behaviour back into family life.

Using her own tried and tested methods, Nanny Mewes will teach the parents techniques to deal with problem behaviour and her views on the causes. But it’s not just the kids who will be kept under a close eye, as Kathryn Mewes believes that it is the behaviour of adults which can often be harder to change. Nanny Mewes believes only once the parents have learnt to see the world through the eyes of a child can they start to make progress.

With tips and practical help throughout the series, Nanny Mewes is aiming to spread her unique techniques to help parents across the UK.

This 4 x 60 series has been commissioned by Head of Formats, Dominic Bird, for Channel 4 and is currently in production. The production company is Liberty Bell and will be executive produced by Jamie Isaacs (Brat Camp, Worlds Strictest Parents, The Choir) and Michele Carlisle (Driving Mum and Dad Mad)
