For fans of international cinema, the star attraction will be Bong Joon Ho’s 2020 Oscar Best Picture winner Parasite. Bruno Ganz and Peter Falk star in Wim Wenders’ 1987 tale of a Berlin-bound angel in Wings of Desire. India is represented by one of Satyajit Ray’s best-loved films, Mahanagar (The Big City). The multi-award winning Monos depicts an unconventional family of teenage commandos, training by day and partying by night in the mountains and jungle of Colombia. We have a double bill of films from prolific Japanese auteur Takashi Miike: samurai tale Blade of The Immortal and drug smuggling thriller First Love.
