PhoneShop
Category: News ReleaseTX: November, E4
After a hugely successful first series run on E4 in autumn 2010, PhoneShop returns for its second series as part of E4's autumn line-up.
On High Street UK the priority is to ‘shift units, make money, smash targets...' and no one knows that better than the staff of PhoneShop.
It's Austerity Britain 2011 and times are hard and getting harder. With star salesman Little Gary Patel still detained at Her Majesty's pleasure, the ever resourceful sales staff of PhoneShop Sutton are feeling the pinch - something has to be done.
While Ashley, Jerwayne and Christopher look to make an extra couple of quid on the side, and Janine attempts to climb her way up the greasy pole of Croydon's social scene, Lance is struggling to keep the staff together as head-hunters, hustlers and head office all conspire against him.
PhoneShop has been written, directed and produced by Phil Bowker (Sharon Horgan's Pulling, and Sean Lock's 15 Stories High) and features a hugely-talented ensemble core cast, including Tom Bennett (Pulling), Andrew Brooke (Pulling, Cemetery Junction), Emma Fryer (Home Time, Ideal), Javone Prince (Horrible Histories) and Martin Trenaman (The Inbetweeners) with cameo support from Kayvan Novak (Fonejacker, Facejacker) as area manager Razz Prince.
