Problems with picture search

Hello. We're having problems with the picture search facility on the site at the moment. We know it, and we currently have a team of Tefal-headed mega-boffins working to rectify the situation.

The latest information I have is that we will hope to have a fix for this in place by the end of the week. In the meantime, the best way to find pictures is to click on the ‘images' tab at the top of the page (like, duhhh!) and then look for pictures in the specific week you're after.

It's difficult to overstate how sorry we are. Suffice to say, if sorry was the European debt crisis, we'd be Greece. (I have no idea if that analogy works, as my grasp of even rudimentary economics is so bad, if it was interest rate policy, and you were the European Central Bank, then we'd both be long term, high yield bonds issued by the Bundesbank. Or something.)
