Who do you play? Silas Blisset

 

How would you describe the character you play? A bon viveur.

 

Are you anything like them in real life?

Apart from the murdering thing, I'm totally different.

 

If you could play any other character, who would you choose, and why?

I would play Terry the Dog. He gets lots of huge close-ups and doesn't have to learn any lines.

 

How long have you been in Hollyoaks?

A year.

 

What's been your favourite scene to shoot in Hollyoaks?

All my scenes have been moments of T.V gold.

 

And your worst?

Killing Rae. I got very wet, most upsetting.

 

What would be your ideal storyline for your character?

Silas opens a meat pie shop in the South of France.

 

Who is the hottest cast member?

Probably Will because he tends to wear big cardigans.

 

Have you ever given anyone a Hollyoaks calendar as a present?

Oh for goodness sake.

 

Do you ever use your job to jump queues for bars, clubs etc?

I can usually clear a ski lift or a railway compartment late at night.

 

Do you ever get sent any weird fan mail?

I once received a photograph of myself as Silas dragging India's body (wrapped in a roll of axminster carpet) into a shallow grave. The man asked me if I would sign it for his wife's birthday.

 

What's your favourite joke?

Some bloke came hammering on my door at four o'clock this morning. Good job I was still up, playing the drums.

 

Who's your best mate in the cast? 

Quite frankly you wouldn't want to spend more than two minutes with any of them!

 

Who's the worst in the cast for inappropriate laughter?

Nobody laughs inappropriately when I'm on set.

 

Who's the worst for forgetting lines?

Can't remember!!!

 

What's the best thing about being in Hollyoaks?

The cast, the crew and the production team.

 

What's the worst?

One day you know you'll have to leave.
