Rare seahorse birth - video exclusive

This week, The Secret Life of the Zoo goes all One Born Every Minute – if the parents in labour on OBEM were the dad, and they produced over a hundred babies at a time. Actually, that would make AMAZING telly. Can we make that happen? Someone get onto our science department. Anyway, in the meantime, you’ll have to make do with the seahorse version. Mind you, teeny tiny seahorse babies are pretty cute. They don’t look like a cross between an angry Winston Churchill and an overripe plum, so that’s one up on the human version.
