Richard Ayoade's Travel Man Christmas Special and two new series

Travel Man: 48 Hours In… will return for a Christmas special this year and two new series in 2017.

Comedian and actress Rebel Wilson is the next celebrity to join Richard Ayoade. The Pitch Perfect star will be taken on a whistle stop tour for an hour-length Travel Man special this Christmas, visiting the city of great artistic wonders, Florence.

Richard’s travel companions and destinations for 2017 will be announced in due course. Previous guests who have joined him for 48 hour trips have included Paul Rudd in Helsinki, Katherine Ryan in New York and Chris O’Dowd in Vienna. The two new series will each comprise of 4 x 30’ episodes.

Travel Man: 48 Hours In… has been commissioned for Channel 4 by Ian Dunkley, Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment. The series is made under Executive Producer Steve Gowans with Series Producer Chris Richards for North One.
