What did you learn taking part in the series?
I learned to appreciate the incredible richness and complexity of modern life; whether that is food, culture, travel or technology. But all that opportunity can be stressful and we tend to overcomplicate things. Life at its most simple can be a beautiful thing.
Has it changed your perspective on life?
Being on The Island reminded me how much I love the outdoors, and how important it is to take the time to enjoy it. It made me realise that at home I probably try to do too much. I should focus on the things I'm passionate about and stop stressing about the things I'm not.
