Scrotal Recall

Category: News Release

Episode 1/6

An infectious new comedy series brimming with humour, heart, and mild genital discomfort, Scrotal Recall follows the disastrous exploits of 20-something romantic Dylan, who must contact everyone he's ever slept with to tell them he has Chlamydia. In each episode, Dylan seeks out a different girl from his STI contact list, and the story flashes back to witness a defining moment in a relationship he'd previously tried his best to forget.

Joining him on this trip down memory lane are best friend Evie, and terrible influence Luke. Both have been by Dylan's side for the past decade, mopping up the blood, sweat and tears in his unsuccessful attempts to seek out The One.

In Episode 1 ‘Abigail’, Dylan informs best friend Luke of his plans to use his STI diagnosis as a positive journey of self-discovery. With that, Dylan thinks back to three years ago and the first girl on his alphabetical list of exes, Abigail, who he slept with when he, Evie and Luke attended their good friend Angus’ wedding.

At the wedding, we see how Dylan’s obsessive romantic nature not only threatens to sabotage his own date, but also drives a wedge between the happy couple, and almost causes Evie to lose her job as wedding photographer. Luckily, Luke is on hand to offer up his imitable advice (when not trying to sleep with every single bridesmaid going). Ultimately, Dylan realises he must stop putting so much pressure on himself and salvages something from the evening in the most unexpected of ways.

And, back in the present, we learn that Dylan has finally come to realise that the love of his life may be a lot closer to home than he thought. The question is: is it too late for him to do anything about it?
