Channel 4 Features has re-commissioned a second series from Plum Pictures of Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year. George Clarke along with his Amazing Spaces team who will once again travel the length and breadth of the British Isles, visiting the extraordinary sheds vying to be crowned Shed of the Year 2015.
This year, the series is bigger with four episodes and two new categories – joining the existing hotly contested groups which include Best Eco Shed, Tardis Shed and Best Pub Shed. With the competition even fiercer, there’ll be plenty for the panel of judges to decide the ultimate winner in the grand final.
Building on last year’s exciting competition, viewers will be amazed by the genius of the nation’s sheddies and their surprising and spectacular creations. packed with inspired design features for a mind-blowing range of eccentric uses. All of the contenders are set to be truly amazing spaces in which to live, work or play.
In 2014 Joel Bird’s stunning Allotment Roof Shed took the top prize despite stiff competition from the mobile Disco Shed, the astounding structure built from 5000 wine bottles and the giant two-storey teapot shed . Once again the ultimate winner’s going to have to impress not just the judges - but the voting public who will be able to vote for category winners from right across the nation.
Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year 2015 will air in summer 2015 and showcase the inspired and the astonishing , as the nation joins together to celebrate the love of the Great British Shed and their extraordinary owners.

The Shed of the Year competition sponsored by Cuprinol, is the brainchild of shed-fanatic Andrew Wilcox (Uncle Wilco) who launched the nationwide competition nine years ago to celebrate the best of British sheds.
