Two-part series Streetdance documents the teams following in the footsteps of street-dance legends Flawless and Diversity, to compete in the UK's original street dance competition.

Powerful personal stories combined with jaw-dropping street-dance routines reveal a rich history of an art form that up until now has been the preserve of the Saturday night TV talent show.

Produced and directed by Bafta award-winning director Gavin Searle (Meet the Natives/Welcome to Lagos), the series documents the highs and lows of this year's up-and-coming dance crews as they attempt to become 2011 Street Dance XXL champions.

In a dramatic finale to the series, the best of British take on America in a unique UK versus USA dance-off in New York - the place where it all began.
