There's late night emergency drama this week when Ollie, an eight-month-old Labrador puppy, is rushed to Fitzpatricks after being hit by a car. His spinal cord has been severely damaged by fractured vertebrae and even after surgery, there is no guarantee that Ollie will ever be able to walk on his own again. There's a breakthrough post op, but then another problem, and under huge time pressure the family has to make an agonising decision whether or not to go ahead with more surgery.
