T4 goes in search of a roving online reporter

T4 is on the search for its very own roving online reporter to head up a selection of amazing music events.  If you think in status updates, have more followers than friends, love music and consider yourself to have what it takes to work that camera then go ahead and enter for this incredible prize.

Here's the perfect chance to show off your creative skills and showcase your personality.  Individuals need to record a 30 second video and say why they would make a great T4 Online reporter.  Originality and imagination is a must, and you need to be aged 18 or over.  Once the filming is complete, the clip should be uploaded on the You Tube channel and a link sent to T4reporter@channel4.com. The closing date for all video submissions is 6th June 2011 - so it's time to get filming.   Once submissions are in, the panel of judges will view all the entries.  The people with the best entries will be invited to regional auditions in Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester and London.

Regional auditions will take place between 13th and 24th June 2011.  Those shortlisted for auditions will be informed by 13th June 2011.  The winner will be notified by 1st July 2011, and given the chance to show the world their reporting skills with blogs, videos and pictures from some of the UK's coolest events of the year.

Neil McCallum, Head of T4 and Music said; "T4 has an incredible track record in unearthing hot new onscreen talent, from the likes of Ben (Shephard), Dermot (O'Leary), Vernon (Kay), Steve (Jones) and more recently Rick (Edwards), Alexa (Chung) and Nick (Grimshaw). The aim of this search is to find someone who absolutely knows their music and has something interesting to say, providing us with great content for the T4 website. This lucky person is going to have AAA access to  T4's big  summer events and some of 2011's must see musical acts, so get online and give it your best shot.."
