Tori Parry joins Film4 as Head of Physical Production
Category: News ReleaseFilm4 has appointed experienced line producer Tori Parry as their permanent Head of Physical Production. Parry has been in the role since June on an interim basis, and succeeds Tracey Josephs who left the organisation to join The Ink Factory.
Parry has 20 years’ experience as a freelance co-producer, line producer and unit production manager, spanning studio and independent film as well as high end TV drama. Her recent credits include co-producer on Danny Boyle’s Getty saga Trust (FX Network) and line producer on BBC1 primetime drama Taboo from Scott Free. Notable film credits include Billy Elliot, Gosford Park, Love Actually, About Time and Everest.
Director of Film4 Daniel Battsek commented: “Tori has fitted seamlessly into the Film4 team since joining us in June, immediately inspiring confidence in both colleagues and our producing partners. We’re delighted she’s agreed to join us on a permanent basis, and I’d also like to thank Nicky Earnshaw for her interim support following Tracey’s departure.”
Parry adds: “I’m thrilled to be joining Film4’s highly respected and committed team. Having worked for many years on individual film and TV productions, I’m relishing the opportunity to work across a whole slate of projects from such a broad range of incredibly talented filmmakers. Since joining Film4, Parry has overseen production for films including Michael Winterbottom’s Greed, Armando Iannucci’s The Personal History of David Copperfield, Coky Giedroyc’s How To Build a Girl, Gregor Jordan’s Dirt Music, Justin Kurzel’s True History of the Kelly Gang and a trio of debut features from Rose Glass (Saint Maud), Nick Rowland (Calm With Horses) and Cathy Brady (Wildfire).
