TV Book Club launches Twitter serialisation

The TV Book Club in association with Specsavers returns to More4 on Sun 26 June at 7.30pm

For the upcoming new series of the TV Book Club, More4 will serialise the Summer Reads on Twitter to whet readers' appetite.

A Book through Tweets will allow fans of the TV Book Club to follow the storylines of the books on the official Twitter feed www.twitter.com/tvbookclub in the week leading up to each episode.

The essence of each book will be captured in approximately 30-35 Tweets, stimulating interest in the titles by giving busy book fans a flavour of what the book is like and a chance to get involved in the series.

The first book in the series, The Lantern by Deborah Lawrenson, will be tweeted from Monday 20 June, with the #TheLantern hashtag.

In another first for the series, several of the authors will also take part in online chats about their books. Each chat will go live to coincide with the episode their book is featured in and viewers can participate and leave questions by visiting www.channel4.com/tvbookclub

The first web chat will be with Deborah Lawrenson and will be live from 20 June to 2 July.

As always, the TV Book Club website will also feature an online poll to choose the official Best Read from the series, quizzes for each book featured, and interviews with the authors.
