The Undateables to return to Channel 4 for fourth series

Channel 4 has commissioned a fourth run of hit series The Undateables, with series three performing as the second highest rated show on Channel 4 in 2014 to date.  The critically acclaimed series will return in 2015 with four episodes following new extraordinary singletons looking for love.  The series will also include a catch up to see how previous daters love lives have progressed. 

The third series of The Undateables, produced by betty, aired at the beginning of 2014 and averaged 3 million viewers and a 10.4% share across the run. The series rated well with both individuals and 16-34 year olds, with 42% of viewers coming from this demographic compared to the slot average of 27%. 

The Undateables series three also performed well on social  media.  The series averaged 38,500 tweets per episode, with show one generating nearly 57,000 tweets. 

Series four of The Undateables was commissioned by Channel 4’s Head of Factual Entertainment, Liam Humphreys and Factual Entertainment commissioning editor Lucy Leveugle. The series will be made by Betty with executive producer Sarah Spencer.
