Week 23 Highlights

Category: News Release

The 23 enigma refers to the belief that most incidents and events are directly connected to the number 23, some modification of the number 23, or a number related to the number 23. It was first popularised by William S Boroughs, and is complete cobblers.

According to the birthday paradox, in a group of 23 randomly chosen people, the probability is more than 50% that some pair of them will have the same birthday. The likelihood of this increases if the group is meeting at a twins convention.

Sports stars to have worn the number 23 shirt include David Beckham, Michael Jordan and Shane Warne.

Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times.
