Children of 9/11

 

The normal temperature of the human body is 37 degrees Celsius. (NB why did centigrade stop being fashionable? And bell bottoms, for that matter?)

37 is the number of as-yet-unidentified radio signals that have been received from outer-space.

William Shakespeare is thought to have written 37 plays (having previously been a scriptwriter on Hollyoaks).

Children of 9/11

On 11 September 2001, more than 3000 children under the age of 18 lost a parent. Ten years on, as the world marks the anniversary, this new feature-length documentary gives a voice to some of the young people who lost parents on that fateful day, many of whom are speaking out for the first time. Over the course of a year cameras have followed 11 children from six families across America, charting how one day's events touched children of all ages, religions and backgrounds.

First into the clinic this time is 58-year-old Brenda who explains to Dr Pixie that her vanishing vagina has reached sticking point. Dr Christian meets Slavek, whose droopy face is getting him down, and comes to the help of 69-year-old Brian's embarrassingly large purple nose protuberance.

The rules of the game are simple: take something cherished and loved, chop it up, change it, move bits around, add things, even replace the audio with the sound of a pig playing the kazoo - do what you like, as long as you make it funnier.
