The Paralympics draw to a spectacular close on Channel 4 in week 37, bringing the curtain down on an incredible summer of sport. The very next day, it's time for the curtain to go up on a spectacular autumn season of programmes on Channel 4. Here are highlights of the programmes in week 37 - fill your boots, people!

Paralympic Games 2012 Tonight: Swimming, Athletics, Wheelchair Basketball and Table Tennis

Clare Balding and Ade Adepitan present the penultimate day of coverage. Attention turns immediately to the Olympic Stadium and GB's Nathan Stephens in the Men's Javelin Throw F57/58 Final. But the reigning world champion will have to fend off the challenge from Egypt's Mahmoud Ramadan El Attar. On the track, Hazel Robson hopes to rediscover the form which landed her the 100m T36 gold medal in Sydney. Plus coverage of the Games' final athletics events in the stadium, including the Men's 4x400m Relay T53/54 Final and Oscar Pistorius's bid to retain his 400m T44 title against his old rival Jerome Singleton. There's also the Men's Wheelchair Basketball Gold Medal Game; reigning champions Australia began the tournament as favourites to retain their crown, while Great Britain have reached the final three times but never claimed gold. The curtain also comes down tonight on events at the Aquatics Centre with what promises to be a thrilling Men's 4x100 Medley Relay Final. And there's more action from the team finals in the table tennis.

Paralympic Games 2012: Football 7-a-side, Wheelchair Rugby and Marathon

The Games reach their conclusion with the final six gold medals contested in four Marathons, the Football 7-a-side and the Wheelchair Rugby. The Mall plays host to the start and finish of the men's and women's Marathons, which take in London's iconic sights, including Buckingham Palace, Admiralty Arch, Birdcage Walk, St Paul's Cathedral, Leadenhall Market, Tower Hill and the Houses of Parliament. David Weir and Shelly Woods, Britain's leading wheelchair distance racers, hope to end their Games on a high, with gold medals in their respective classifications. Presented by Jonathan Edwards, Daraine Mulvihill, Georgie Bingham and Arthur Williams.

The Great British Paraorchestra

Inspired by his five-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy, and by the principles of the Paralympics, conductor Charles Hazlewood is determined to create a platform for talented disabled musicians at the top of their game. This film explores music's power to bring people together despite their disabilities. It charts the formation of the British Paraorchestra and explores the musicians' own relationship with music.

London 2012 Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony

Jon Snow presents the Festival of Flame, the London 2012 Paralympic Closing Ceremony - the festival of the flame. Coldplay take to the stage to give a live concert in the Olympic Stadium, which will be seen by an estimated worldwide audience of 750 million people. Working with choreographer Kim Gavin, Closing Ceremony Artistic Director, the band performs alongside a cast of almost 2000 in the stadium to celebrate Britain's rich culture of festivals, from the ancient to the modern-day, and mark the closing of the London 2012 Games.

London 2012: Our Greatest Team Parade

The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games are over and now is the time for the city of London to celebrate those who took part. Jon Snow guides us through the live coverage of our greatest team parade, joined by Ade Adepitan and Giles Long. While out on the route, from Mansion House to Buckingham Palace, Clare Balding, Iwan Thomas and Rachael Latham hop on and off the 22 floats on which the triumphant athletes are travelling. More than one million people are expected to line the streets of the capital as the parade travels through. With commentary from Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

999: What's Your Emergency? 1/10

2012 is the 75th anniversary of the 999 emergency telephone number in the UK. The volume of calls has jumped by 60% in the last generation, with 31 million 999 calls received in 2011. Filmed 24/7 with police, fire and ambulance teams in Blackpool over six weeks, from the moment calls are received, this new 10-part documentary series shows how Britain is changing through the eyes of the emergency services on the front line. In the first programme of the series, Blackpool's emergency services tackle the fallout from the dizzying array of 'party drugs' that are on the rise in towns across the UK.

9/11: The Miracle Survivor

This documentary reveals reveals what could be the last untold survival story from the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York. Survivor Pasquale Buzzelli rode a blizzard of falling debris from a 22nd-floor World Trade Center stairwell and lived, miraculously, to tell his story. For the first time on television Pasquale recalls in extraordinary detail the full story of September 11, 2001. The film also hears from a leading physicist who discusses the science behind Pasquale's survival; how did he survive the collapse of the North Tower by effectively surfing down it?

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is joined at River Cottage by three much-loved comedians: Robert Webb, Lee Mack and Ruby Wax. But while they might be funny people, their cooking skills are laughable. Can two days of intensive cooking classes with the River Cottage team whip them into shape as chefs? Lee and Robert are thrown in the deep end and left to knock up a kedgeree for Hugh. Later, Lee teams up with Ruby for a bit of competitive cake cooking, before all three comedians go head-to-head in a sausage making challenge.
