Adam Hills returns to host Celeb Fifteen To One on C4 throughout June

Category: News Release

Question or nominate? That will be the crucial decision for the famous faces taking part in four primetime celebrity specials of Fifteen To One, to be hosted by award-winning Australian comedian Adam Hills on Channel 4 from June 6th.

Some of the nation’s cleverest celebrity minds will battle it out on Channel 4’s cult quiz show, known for requiring nerves of steel and the brutal whittling down of contestants, from fifteen to one. The 15 brave celebrities taking part in each primetime show will be in with the chance of winning tens of thousands of pounds for a charity of their choice.

Contestants will include comedians Jimmy Carr, Frank Skinner, Jason Manford and Dara O' Briain, actors Steve Pemberton, Stephen Mangan and Ade Edmondson, politicians Ann Widdecombe and Diane Abbott as well as foodies Paul Hollywood and Heston Blumenthal. The shows will also include host Adam Hills’ close pals Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicome from The Last Leg. Health experts Dr Pixie Mckenna and Dr Christian Jessen, academic and author Germaine Greer, and journalists including Sian Williams, Janet Street-Porter and Kate Garraway will also be putting their general knowledge to the test.

The first Fifteen To One celebrity special, also hosted by Hills - who took home the coveted title of Best Comedy Breakthrough Artist at last year’s British Comedy Awards - aired in September 2013 as part of Channel 4’s 80’s Night and saw peak viewing figures of over 2 million.  Jo Brand was the ultimate winner of that show, winning £21,100 for her chosen charity Stepping Stones – but who will be 2014’s winner? Tune in every Friday night in June to find out!

Fifteen To One was commissioned for Channel 4 by Madeleine Knight and is produced by Remedy Productions. Executive Producer: Tom Blakeson. Series Producer: Edward de Burgh. Director: Julian Smith

Celebrity Fifteen To One airs on Channel 4 at 8pm every Friday from 6th June throughout the month.
