Shorts are Channel 4's original short form videos available on All 4 and this month we have a variety of shows for you. From dealing with life milestones in Oh S**t I’m 30! to celeb wannabees in Make Me a Famous Face we have an eclectic mix of shows, with other titles including My Weird Hobby, Chelsea Style Secrets and In Bed with Jamie, all coming to the service in April.

 

Make Me a Famous Face – Goes live on 1st April

 

Make Me a Famous Face follows the stories of super fanatics who will stop at nothing to reach celebrity-like perfection. From Liverpool’s answer to Pamela Anderson to the ‘Human Ken Doll’, combined they have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on plastic surgery as they follow in the footsteps of their celebrity idols, including Kim Kardashian and Joey Essex.

Episode 1, Keeping up with Kim - Jordan James Parke goes for a vampire facial and tells us why he’s so obsessed with Kim Kardashian, sharing an insight into the world of celebrity fanaticism.

Episode 2, Scouse Pammie - Liverpool’s Carolyn Anderson has been known as ‘Scouse Pammie’ for years. In this episode we talk implants, beauty spots and what £20,000 of surgery looks like with Pamela’s biggest fan.

Episode 3, The Only Way Is Joey - Meet Sam Barton, who has spent £55,000 on plastic surgery to look more like his idol Joey Essex.

Episode 4, Human Ken Doll - After 35 plastic surgeries and over £200,000, Rodrigo Alves considers himself the ‘Human Ken Doll.’

Starring YouTube sensation Emily Hartridge, Oh S**t I’m 30! follows a pivotal change in a woman’s life and popular culture suggests that your 30’s are “the best years of your life”. This is the age that you finally know who you really are, who you should spend your time with and what you should spend your time and money doing….Not according to Emily! Each episode covers a different subject area affecting people approaching the big 3-0 and sees Emily tackle each issue by taking her own personal dreams and fears head on.

 My Weird Hobby – Goes live on 1st April

My Weird Hobby traces the lives of six Brits who spend their time preoccupied with rather unusual pursuits. It’s odd, strange and downright wonderful as the series shines a light on individuals searching to fulfil somewhat peculiar ambitions and interests. 

Episode 1, Mermaid - Michelle Roberts has taken her childhood infatuation with The Little Mermaid to the next level and spends her time in silicon mermaid outfits, posing for glossy model shoots.

Episode 2, Larping - Friends Morton and Dunby spend their weekends in medieval battle re-enactments, searching for excitement, adrenalin and an alternative to their ordinary city lives.

Episode 3, Horse Groomer - Lover of glitter, glam and horses, Michelle from South Wales transforms her horses into real-life unicorns and has carved a career as an equestrian makeup artist.

Episode 4, Zombies - Fancy dress shop owner Jason Redshaw and theatrical costumer David Charles Collie fear a zombie apocalypse, collecting items that will allow survival in such event.

Episode 5, Eaters - 32-inch pizzas and 43 Yorkshire puddings – competitive eaters Mark and Adam show off their gluttonous food habits and 6-day training regimes, entering contests to eat gigantic sized food portions within the hour.

Episode 6, Taxidermy - Arch Crawford, 13, has an unusual pastime for someone of his age. He spends his time preserving dead animals – rats, birds and rabbits – found in his local woodland.

Dive under the covers with Made in Chelsea’s very own Jamie Laing as he shares a bed with mystery guests, cheekily quizzing his companions on their scandalous activities. It’s a carnival atmosphere as Jamie and his pals promise to captivate audiences with charm, wit and guaranteed hilarity from the stars of Made in Chelsea.

Charismatic Jamie climbs into bed with Made in Chelsea newcomer Olivia Bentley, prying her for bedroom exploits and juicy gossip. Jamie’s back to his typically naughty and playful ways.

Episode 24, Sam & Tiff – Goes live on 18th April

Jamie’s bed is always occupied – and this time it’s busier than always as he clambers under the covers with the beautiful Tiffany Watson and hunky Sam Thompson. It’s party hats, love games and testing questions as mischievous Jamie puts the couple to the test!

Chelsea Style Secrets – Goes live on 11th April

Chelsea Style Secrets is back for its third season, with Made In Chelsea’s impeccably dressed Mark Francis judging the style and fashion choices of trio Rosie Fortescue, Stephanie Pratt and Georgia Toffolo. Chelsea Style Secrets offers up the hottest tips to give you the desired and sophisticated Chelsea fashion look. It’s a competition to win recognition as Chelsea’s ultimate style icon with the trio of girls trying each other’s fashion looks, but beware of Mark he’ll once again climb the throne and judge the girls – and his eye for detail requires everyone to be at the top of their game!
