Category: News Release

Inspired by the successful Shorts series made for All 4, Rich Kids Go Shopping (1 x 60) explores the extraordinary lives of a group of 18 to 21 year olds and their incredible desire to make and spend money.

Those sharing their secrets to success include 19-year-old Dhillan Bhardwaj, owner of a booming urban fashion business that has grown from his garage to a multi-million pound retail empire. Meanwhile 20-year-old Jamie Pine and his 19-year-old boyfriend Mike have between them have amassed millions of viewers for their lucrative YouTube vlogs, filmed and produced from their Plymouth home. The programme also meets 21-year-old self-taught stock market trader Elijah, who has an eye for luxury cars, and traveller Alfie, who through hard work raised enough funds to buy his mobile home park in Essex aged 17.

Rich Kids Go Shopping will TX on Monday 4th January at 10pm on Channel 4. The single film by producer/director Michael Ogden is executive produced by Emma Willis for Twenty Twenty Productions (a Warner Bros Television Production UK company) and was commissioned by Anna Miralis, Commissioning Editor for Documentaries at Channel 4.
