Ayda Field to star in Fresh Meat Series 4

Category: News Release

In the fourth and final series, the end of University life is drawing close for the residents of 28 Hartnell Avenue as the housemates face their finals and the prospect of Graduation. All except Josie, who faces her final year being alone without her friends!

The last series saw Oregon (Charlotte Ritchie) striving to become Student Union President, and her campaign was successful. Now planning her legacy she seeks the support of Support Officer Rosa, played by Field.

Rosa is a strong minded, no nonsense woman, and when Oregon’s ambitions and self-aggrandizing plans start to overshadow her responsibilities, tensions rise between the president and her aide! While Oregon and Rosa’s working relationship starts to deteriorate, Kingsley (Joe Thomas) is drawn to Rosa’s complicated, mature sophistication but how long before she sees beyond the apparently carefree student?

Ayda Field has starred in a number of films and television programmes in the USA including Aaron Sorkin’s NBC series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Fox sitcom Back to You.

Fresh Meat launched in 2011 and has won several awards including; a British Comedy Award for Best New Comedy Programme and RTS Awards for Best Writer (Comedy) and Best Scripted Comedy and a South Bank Sky Arts Award, amongst others.
