BACKGROUND:
Ben came to New York via the UK to make his mark on the modelling world. He had previously met Jamie and Danny when they all worked at Abercrombie & Fitch in London and a firm ‘bromance’ was formed between them. He also knows the twins (Amy and Megan) from working at Abercrombie, though they have a lot to catch up on as they haven’t seen each other for years.

The guys all live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the ultimate bachelor pad which (according to Danny) has a revolving door when it comes to the ladies.
Ben’s best qualities lie in the fact that he is brutally honest, laid back and ever protective of his ‘boys’. They are always upfront with each other and have been best mates for seven years.

CAREER:
Ben has been living in New York and modelling full time since 2011 leading campaigns for brands such as Levi.  As well as this, Ben is also studying acting.

He’s a fan of brunettes over blondes and one of the TNY girls may have turned his head, though he’s currently single.

Q&A WITH BEN

What made you decide to move to New York?
In the modelling industry, New York is known to the best place for work in terms of rates and the amount of jobs available. There is also the most competition here too so I always wanted to give it a crack before I hung up my 'modelling boots', to see if I could kick it with the best in the business. In the end it was a phone call from Jamie whilst I was in Sydney that locked me in. He told me that he and Danny had a room available in the apt they were renting and obviously I was their first choice when wanting to choose a new housemate to live with. So I booked a ticket right there on the spot and told him I’d be there in two days. To live with my two best mates in NYC is a dream!

Tell us your top 3 highlights since landing in New York?
I love music festivals and being outdoors. A DJ called Lee Burridge throws an amazing outdoor day party in Brooklyn each year called 'All Day I Dream of Summer', and that is by far one of my favourite events of the year!
Trips to the Hamptons have proven to be hilarious and fun as we all drive up there to stay at a friend’s house. It’s so nice to get out of the city with a group of friends and I miss the beach so that’s always a big highlight.

So you live with Jamie and Danny, what’s the dynamic like in the flat? What are the guys’ worst habits?
The dynamic is perfect. We all think in a similar way and all like to party the same way, there’s not a day that goes by where I don't laugh hysterically at something that they say or something we do. Jamie stresses me out sometimes because he's always in a super rush to do everything, and I hate being rushed. Danny takes an eternity to get ready to leave the house, so if you're planning on getting anywhere on time with him, forget about it.
