C4 says 'I do' to brand new commission, 'All Hail The Veil'

Head of Daytime for Channel 4, David Sayer today announced the commission of a brand new original 3x60 series from American production company, Half Yard Productions.

All Hail The Veil features one bride and three very different salons competing to find the dress of her dreams. From discount divas to haute hipsters and high-end couture queens, it's a one-stop shop for gowns in every style and price range, with the experts weighing in on each appointment. But it's the bride who ultimately gets to pick the winner in a surprise reveal at the end of each episode in front of friends, family and the salon owners.

Speaking on the commission, David Sayer said ‘This is a really fun new bridal format for the UK and a great addition to Channel 4’s daytime slate. With no end of options of bridal gowns out there, the series will capture all the emotions and dramas of finding that perfect dress’.
