•    It’s time to take charge of your favourite celeb in new show Stars At Your Service - part of Cancer Research UK and Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraising campaign

•    The new interactive 6x60’ series is driven by the viewer who can apply for their favourite star to do their bidding via www.channel4.com/stars


Would you want to sing a duet with a Melanie C? Have Warwick Davis do your best man’s speech? Or Marvin Humes do your household chores? Well, you might just be in luck...

Channel 4 has commissioned Remarkable Television, an Endemol company, to produce the highly interactive primetime entertainment show, Stars At Your Service. The series gives viewers an incredibly rare opportunity to pick from a range of celebrities and submit a task that they’d like them to do, in order to fulfil their wishes. The best ideas will be filmed for the show and new Stars will regularly be added to the website. Best of all - it’s to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

Already signed up are TV presenter and ex JLS member Marvin Humes, Spice Girl Melanie C, actor Warwick Davis, comic Rhod Gilbert, street dance master Ashley Banjo, food broadcaster and campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, comedian Al Murray, interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE, reality star Ollie Locke, property expert Phil Spencer, stand up comic and TV host Russell Howard, Countdown’s Rachel Riley, comedian and actor Greg Davies, Strictly Come Dancing dancer Anton Du Beke, comedian Russell Kane and Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington OBE, with many more star names to be announced.

Those with the most entertaining propositions will see their requests become reality as the Stars are put to work with funny, sublime or just plain ridiculous results. Viewers will also have the chance to win money can’t buy experiences throughout the series.

The show will allow the public to interact with their favourite faces like never before whilst drumming up support and, crucially, raising funds for a fantastic cause.”

Madeleine Knight, Commissioning Editor for Channel 4 Entertainment, says; “As the lead-in series to Stand Up to Cancer, Stars at Your Service will raise awareness for the campaign, making the SU2C event this year even bigger and more ambitious than its debut in 2012."

The series will air in the run up to the Stand Up To Cancer live national TV event on Friday 17th October and is commissioned by Channel 4’s Entertainment commissioner Madeleine Knight and Multiplatform Commissioning Editor Jody Smith. It will be exec produced by Kitty Walshe with Amy Boyle and Stephen Lovelock series producing for Remarkable Television. The Stars At Your Service website has been built by Mint Digital.
