Channel 4 Announces their Future Sounds List - 10 Vital Acts For 2016

Channel 4 to announce Future Sounds, its inaugural list of artists who look set to musically take 2016 by storm.

A key part of this initiative is the brand new 5 x 30 television show C4's Future Sounds, produced by Globe Productions, featuring live performances from the world famous Abbey Road Studios. Each week for 5 weeks two artists will take to the stage to show us just why they are tipped for massive things in 2016. Each singer or band also has the added kudos of an endorsement from a huge global artist or well-known musical personality.

The hotly tipped and extremely diverse acts to be featured include Alessia Cara, Blossoms, Izzy Bizu and Loyle Carner. The other artists are Aurora –renowned for recording the soundtrack to arguably the biggest advert of the year and the incredible Bonkaz who represents the rising grime scene.

The other artists are Welsh rockers Pretty Vicious who made a significant impact in summer festival circuit, producer extraordinaire SG Lewis, electronic up and comer Tala and the jaw droppingly soulful Barns Courtney.   

Also yet to be announced are the list of ambassadors, the artists and influential industry figures who will talk on the show, who will add a further sense of depth alongside the live performances.
