Channel 4 commissions business format 'The Takeover'

Channel 4 has commissioned a business format The Takeover from Victory Television, a joint venture with Sony Pictures Television (SPT).

The series will see company bosses hand over the reins of their business to the workforce in an attempt to revive the company’s fortunes.

Fronted by businesswoman Hilary Devey, The Takeover will be executive produced by Victory Television’s Clare Hollywood. SPT has acquired worldwide rights with the exclusion of Ireland from the format’s creators Toto Productions.
