Channel 4 Features has commissioned Northern Ireland based indie Tern TV to make a new health programme, Can I Catch It? (w/t)

In the past ten years there has been an explosion of stories warning us about the threats to our health and worrying epidemics, but how much trust should we put into what we read about in the media?  Can I Catch It? (w/t) will get to the root of the medical issues which are grabbing the headlines and causing concern.

The TX pilot will follow three doctors – Xand van Tulleken, Phil Kieran and Javid Abdelmoneim – as they investigate the risks to our health of some of the headline grabbing conditions and medical scares of recent years. Together they will uncover the truth behind the dramatic headlines and reveal the less attention grabbing conditions that we should be really concerned about.

The programme will deliver health news that viewers can use and uncover the truth behind the health questions everyone is asking .

Can I Catch It? (w/t) was commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Features Gill Wilson and will be made by Tern TV with executive producers Paula Campion and Brendan Hughes.
