Channel 4 commissions new prank show I'm Spazticus

I'm Spazticus, due to air this summer on Channel 4, is a brand new prank show featuring disabled performers pranking able bodied members of the public. A mix of hidden camera, moc doc and with a studio based element, the show will feature a number of recurring characters as well as one-offs.

I'm Spazticus aims to be a fresh, cheeky, irreverent take on the prank show. The 5 x 30 min series will air in the year that Channel 4 broadcasts the 2012 Paralympics for the very first time. A pilot, first aired on Channel 4 in 2005, won a Superfest International Disability Award.

Nerys Evans, Commissioner Channel 4 Comedy, said "We're very excited to be doing a show that first and foremost will be very funny and also showcases some of the very best disabled talent both on screen and behind the camera."

I'm Spazticus will be made by Zeitgeist Television for Channel 4 and was commissioned by Nerys Evans.  Executive Producer and Director is Jamie O'Leary and Producer is Jemma Gander.
