Channel 4 to cook up My Kitchen Rules UK

Channel 4 is set to uncover Britain’s most talented home cooks having commissioned ‘My Kitchen Rules UK ’ from 7Wonder Productions.

The series is based on the knock out success of Australia's ‘My Kitchen Rules’, which holds the top spot as the country’s number one show,

In the competitive elimination format cooking duos will create pop up restaurants in their own homes for the judges and rival contestants to savour. With a £10k prize and the chance to win the title of Britain's Best Home Chef it's a high pressure high octane and entertaining ride for C4 daytime.


Exec Producer Eve Kay added; “Pop up restaurants are the latest addition to the UK's ongoing food revolution and a brilliant way for amateur chefs to show off their cooking skills and passion for food. An entertaining national competition pitching different regions against each other will bring out the best in British food and should  discover exciting new food talent.”

The 30 x 60 series has been commissioned by Syeda Irtizaali, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment, for Channel 4 daytime. It is set to air later this year.
