Channel 4 Education commissions Rich Kids of Instagram series

Following the success of PopKorn TV’s one-off documentary in 2015, Channel 4 Education has commissioned a six part series of Rich Kids of Instagram for E4.

Instagram’s youngest and richest users have been garnering both admiration and condemnation around the world over the last few years. Rich Kids of Instagram will delve into the lives of these young people as they share their ‘everyday’ lives on social media. The series will give a snapshot of the lives of a diverse group of fabulous rich kids from across the globe who live the kind of lives that most of us can only dream of.

The 6x60’ series will lift the lid on a unique story of modern times, showing why “if you’ve got it flaunt it” is the new mantra amongst today’s uber rich “insta-famous” generation.

Rich Kids of Instagram was commissioned by Channel4 Education commissioning editor, Emily Jones. The programme will be made by PopKorn TV with executive producer Rory Wheeler.
