Channel 4 Formats commissions 'Northern Spirit' (w/t)

Channel 4 has commissioned a 1x60’ format, ‘Northern Spirit’ (WT), delving into the extraordinary world of northern clairvoyants, psychics and mediums.

Whether it’s ghosts, energies or auras, millions of Britons are firm believers of the ‘other side.’ This observational documentary follows clairvoyants who are busy responding to the increasing demand for spiritual guidance in the North of England.

Tapping into established psychic practices, professional rivalries, and faithful clients, we will get an authentic insight into this intriguing, ethereal world often shrouded in secrecy. We will meet the clairvoyants, faithful clients and cynics alike.

Northern Spirit is produced by Lime Pictures and has been commissioned by Channel 4’s Editor of Formats, Simone Haywood and Head of Formats Dom Bird. The 1x60’ programme will air on Channel 4 later in 2015.
