Channel 4 Formats commissions second series of The Three Day Nanny

Channel 4’s Head of Formats Dom Bird has commissioned a second series of ‘The Three Day Nanny’.

Once again, the 6x60 series from Liberty Bell will follow Professional Nanny Kathryn Mewes as she answers the cries for help from desperate parents unable to cope with their tearaway children’s serious behavioural problems. 

Using her unique three day action plan, Kathryn moves into struggling households to tackle everything from fussy food habits, bedtime battles and terrible tantrums. She’ll arm parents with the confidence, skills and techniques to help them restore harmony to family life for good.

Nanny Kathryn Mewes has over twenty years’ experience working with children … and their parents. She was trained at the prestigious Norland Nanny School and has since set up her own nanny practice where she has worked intensively with hundreds of families to give them bespoke troubleshooting advice.

Channel 4’s Head of Formats, Dom Bird said ‘The first series of Three Day Nanny, brought much needed help to desperate parents. I am delighted to be bringing Nanny Mewes’ expertise back to the screens as she tackles the behavioural problems of a whole new set of children and fretful parents’.

The series is being produced by Liberty Bell by Series Producer, Francis Baker (Restaurant Man, Kids with Cameras) and Jamie Isaacs, Executive Producer who said that; ‘We are very excited that Channel 4 have asked for another series. We think Kathryn is a real star and the impact she had in family homes during the first series was truly impressive’.
