Channel 4 hires Charlotte Light as new Controller of Systems Delivery

Channel 4 today announced it has appointed Charlotte Light as Controller of Systems Delivery.

Charlotte will be responsible for managing the work of all Systems Delivery teams in determining and delivering Channel 4’s Technology roadmap across all areas of the business, specifically Ad Sales, Content and Rights Management, Corporate and All 4.

This new role reports to Keith Underwood, Director of Strategy & Technology, and replaces that of Chief Information Officer. Also reporting to Keith Underwood are Orpheus War, Chief Technology Officer; Rachel Yendoll, Head of Content Management; and the Strategy & Corporate Development function of Channel 4.

Previously Charlotte was IT Director for Corporate Services, Global Supply Chain and ran programme delivery of Retail systems at Specsavers where she was responsible for delivering all work programmes and the overhaul of major systems. Charlotte has also worked at BUPA and IBM in a business development, technical sales and marketing capacity.

Charlotte will take up her new role on 16th November 2015.
