Channel 4 shows triumph at the BAFTA Craft Awards
Category: News Release
Channel 4 shows enjoyed a triumphant awards night last night, as they won seven gongs at the BAFTA Craft Awards. Michaela Coel picked up her second Breakthrough Artist award (following her recent RTS win) for her brilliant comedy Chewing Gum. Documentary series Murder Detectives was a big winner on the night, winning two awards, for directing and editing. There were also awards for best writer in both comedy (for Catastrophe) and drama (for Cucumber).
Once again, Channel 4 programmes won more awards than any other single channel. On the same night, the Professional Footballers’ Association Awards were taking place and, frankly, we’re surprised we didn’t win one of them.
