Channel 4 wins three Mind Media Awards

At last night’s Mind Media Awards, My Mad Fat Diary won the Drama Award, Embarrassing Bodies: Live From the Clinic won the Entertainment Award and Channel 4 News won the News & Current Affairs Award for their Life in Chains: Somalia’s Mentally ill report.

This means that three of the four television categories were won by the broadcaster.

The Mind Media Awards celebrate the best examples of reporting and portrayal of mental health in print, broadcast and digital media. The awards recognise media professionals, organisations, students and individuals who report responsibly and sensitively on mental health.
