Clare Balding to present Channel 4's premier race meetings

Clare Balding to front Cheltenham Festival – Crabbie’s Grand National – Investec Derby Festival - Royal Ascot – QIPCO British Champions Day

BAFTA-award winning presenter and journalist Clare Balding will return to front several of Channel 4’s 2016 premier racing events after extending her racing commitments with the broadcaster. 

As part of a new 2016 agreement, Clare will lead Channel 4’s coverage of the four-day Cheltenham Festival, the Crabbie’s Grand National, the Investec Derby Festival, five-days from Royal Ascot and QIPCO British Champions Day.

Nick Luck will co-present at the premier meetings alongside Clare including joint presentation of the 2016 Crabbie’s Grand National.

Clare will then front Channel 4’s coverage of the Paralympics in summer 2016.

Clare Balding said: "I'm delighted to continue presenting the major racing events for Channel 4 and be part of their hugely exciting plans for 2016 by helping broadcast them to the widest possible audience.”
