COSMIC TOP SECRET INFORMATION

E4’s covert mission to locate The 100 on Earth has proved successful. The broadcaster cannot confirm the number of survivors - this information will be revealed over 16 episodes in early 2015 when contact is re-established. It is believed that footage will be released on a weekly basis to allow monitoring of these important assets – as well as hostile forces.

Following the loss of contact with The 100 in September, this development is of national significance. When exchanges with the group first began this summer, it attracted the attention of 1.7 million individuals overnight – a record-breaker in terms of surveillance of E4’s output.*

The broadcaster is hopeful that more information on the location in which Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Monty (Christopher Larkin) are being held - as disclosed shortly before contact was lost - will be revealed imminently. A count of the survivors will also be organised to discover how many of the original 100 will feature in subsequent footage. E4 is hopeful that Finn (Thomas McDonnell), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulous) and Jasper (Devon Bostick) may have survived the attacks. An update on which of the adult crew of the Ark – including Dr Abbey Griffin (Paige Turco) and Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) - survived the journey to Earth will also be included in next year’s hourly updates.

The 100 is distributed by Warner Brothers International. Jason Rothenberg and Leslie Morgenstein are executive producers for Season 2.

*The 100 attracted the biggest overnight audience to a programme launch in E4’s history. The show averaged 1.7m viewers and an 8.1% share of audience (live+vosdal) from 9-10pm. The performance more than quadrupled E4’s slot average (up +378% for volume and up +417% for share) and attracted the highest share of 16-34 year olds- the channel’s key demographic - with a 17% share.
