We're a modest lot here at Channel 4. So we'd be the last to mention we have the Docs category all sewn up at the RTS Programme Awards next week thanks to a judicious shortlisting of Fighting on the Frontline, Educating Essex and 24 Hours in A&E. But to occupy ourselves whilst the champagne is chilling and we clear space in the trophy cabinet, we put together this video showcasing why (others may say) Channel 4 Docs produce the most moving, heart-warming and gripping programmes about Britain today.
