E4 announces return of hit US show Supernatural to UK screens

E4 has announced the recruitment of demon hunters Sam and Dean Winchester in an attempt to combat the supernatural forces which are expected to descend upon the channel in early 2015.

Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles (as the Winchesters) alongside Misha Collins (as the angel Castiel), Supernatural Season 9 follows the brothers as they take to the road again in their ’67 Chevy Impala to battle against a world now inhabited by thousands of newly arrived powerful beings. But a dark secret hangs over Dean’s head…and he might have finally crossed the line to protect his brother.

Created by Eric Kripke, Supernatural is executive produced by Robert Singer, Jeremy Carver, McG and Adam Glass. The series is produced by Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television.
