Film4 talent honoured at Evening Standard British Film Awards

Olivia Colman won Best Actress for her remarkable performance in Paddy Considine's Tyrannosaur, whilst Michael Fassbender took home Best Actor for his fearless performance in Steve McQueen's Shame. These wins follow their respective acting prizes at last year's British Independent Film Awards.
Robbie Ryan, cinematographer on Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights, won the London Film Museum Award for Technical Achievement.
Tessa Ross, Head of Film and Drama at Channel 4, says: "We're delighted to see so much of our brilliant talent recognised among the nominees for the Evening Standard British Film Awards. It's even more gratifying to see Olivia, Michael and Robbie being honoured as winners.

The awards were held at the London Film Museum.
